“Mr. Stavros changed my perception of lawyers (in a good way)! He was attentive, quick to respond, excellent at keeping me informed, and, overall handled my case with professionalism and skill. I would highly recommend him to others.”
Dr. Paul T.
“We came to Stavros Law with an issue that threatened the existence of our third generation family business. Mr. Stavros’s persistence, sound advice and hard work saved our business. We are truly grateful.”
“I approached four different law firms prior to contacting Stavros Law about my employment claim. Stavros Law listened to me and spent time developing my case. Without Stavros Law, I would not have been able to proceed with my claims which, in the end, were handled in a manner that was just, and highly satisfactory to me.”
"Adam and Andy believed in my case when no one else would. They fought to protect my ownership in my business and obtained a result that was just and fair at trial, and allowed me to move forward."
"I was fired from my job for reporting my company's wrongful activities. Once I turned the case over to Stavros Law, I could stop worrying. Mr. Stavros and his staff got back everything I lost and more. My prior lawyers did nothing to help me. Once you've seen a good attorney in action, you immediately know the difference."
"We use Stavros Law to keep our business in compliance with very complex health care laws and regulations. We couldn't be more pleased with the services that Stavros Law provides to us. We view Stavros Law as a vital partner in our business."
"Mr. Stavros obtained an order of reinstatement and payment of all back wages I had lost after I was terminated wrongfully based upon a false claim of assaulting one of our clients. He not only aggressively fight to protect my interests, he believed in me when it felt like no one else did."
We're proud of the results we've obtained for our clients since
the founding of Stavros Law P.C. in 2007. But most importantly,
we're proud of what our clients have told us about our
representation. Please know that every case is different and that the results below are not meant to suggest a likely or typical result. Each case is different. And each case has a risk of loss.
We assisted our clients with obtaining judgments in excess of $5 million dollars in a complex real estate and securities law case.
We obtained a sexual harassment settlement for our client for over $1,500,000. Our client was a high level officer who was forced out of a position due to harassment.
We obtained just short of $500,000 for an employee who came to us with a whistleblower claim, and who we assisted with IRS whistleblower and related claims.
We obtained a verdict on behalf of our client in a breach of contract and wage claim in excess of $400,000, in addition to an ownership interest in our client's former company.
We obtained a jury verdict in our favor on behalf of our client, a C.E.O, who was owed compensation. After a successful appeal, judgment was awarded in our client's favor for $386,281.
We settled an ADA and FMLA claim for our client for $325,000.
We obtained $300,000 for a client who asserted claims against her former employer for sexual harassment, assault and battery and related claims.
We were retained as counsel by our client to substitute for its previous lawyers at trial. We prepared and took the case to trial, obtained a judgment of no cause on all of the claims asserted by the other party (including a claim of ownership to our client's business), and obtained a judgment for our client in excess of $163,000 at trial. Our client's previous counsel was unable to settle the case for $30,000 (after recommending that settlement to our client).
Our client came to us after a DOL audit and DWS audit attempted to reclassify all of its contract workers (more than 80) as employees. The reclassification would have destroyed our client's business. Our law firm aggressively fought back and challenged the audits, saving our client's business from financial ruin.
We defended a business against misappropriation of trade secrets, theft, conversion and non-compete claims arising from its purchase of a business. After extensive discovery, the plaintiffs agreed to settle the claim without any monetary payment and without restrictions on our client's business.
Our client came to us for assistance with helping an international business headquartered in Japan develop policies, procedures and practices for its U.S. based operations in a manner that was consistent with its culture. We worked with our client to assist it with the transition, implement appropriate practices for its U.S. operations and provide training to certain personnel.
Our client came to us to salvage a $5.5 million dollar expansion and renovation of a health care facility that one of Utah’s largest law firms couldn’t complete. To close the deal, our law firm effectuated the first purchase and transfer of Medicaid licensed beds in the State of Utah under a new statute.
We assisted our client to avoid millions of dollars in claimed Medicare and Medicaid overpayments, and avoid any individual civil or criminal liability for the officers of our clients.
